Public Sector Compliance Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Counsel, Public Sector Compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a legal business partner to revenue teams, summarizing and communicating legal concepts and risks
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of legal agreements while advising on contract interpretation
• Support continuous improvement of agreement templates and legal processes while ensuring compliance with company policies

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of in-house experience, preferably in a technology company with a focus on public-sector contracting and compliance
• Knowledge of data privacy and experience with SaaS Subscription Agreements
• Familiarity with government-wide acquisition contracts and procurement vehicles
• Admitted to the bar in at least one U.S. state with a successful legal track record
• Ability to structure, draft, and negotiate a high volume of various contracts
