Job Summary

A company is looking for a Public Interest Attorney to join its team remotely from anywhere in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in litigation, including writing briefs and collaborating with outside counsel
• Draft legislation and participate in grassroots lobbying and public testimony
• Provide legal support for advocacy efforts and collaborate with campaign and communications teams

Required Qualifications

• J.D. and membership in good standing in a state bar
• 3+ years of legal experience
• Commitment to public interest work and strong intrinsic motivation
• Experience with complex legal issues, preferably in constitutional law, social justice, and/or election law
• Ability to work independently in a nonprofit environment
