As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern, you'll collaborate with talented teams across R&D, process development, and operations, bringing innovative ideas to life and ensuring they meet the highest standards. Your journey with us will involve optimizing processes, solving complex production issues, and continuously improving our systems. Join our dynamic team and contribute to the development and production of the AQUABEAM Robotic System, the world’s first autonomous tissue removal robot for treating BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia). What Your Day-To-Day Will Involve:
· Support in-house and contract manufacturing, resolving production issues.
· Design test methods for trend analysis and monitor production performance.
· Implement process controls and data gathering processes.
· Support and implement manufacturing test equipment to identify failure causes.
· Collaborate with R&D for product and process changes in commercial manufacturing.
· Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance quality, yield, and capacity.
· Define and update process limits, instructions, BOMs, and work orders.
· Design and procure improved fixtures, tooling, and equipment.
· Develop and conduct test protocols and generate reports.
· Perform process capability assessments and establish controls.
· Create process validation protocols and conduct optimization studies.
· Execute IQs, OQs, and PQs for new or modified equipment.
· Support external suppliers and contract manufacturers to meet quality and production goals.
· Train and provide direction to operators and technicians.
The Qualifications We Need You to Possess
· In the process of attaining an Engineering degree such as Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Aerospace engineering.
· Ability to read & understand Electrical diagrams & electronic circuit schematics
· Excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
The Qualifications We Would Like You to Possess
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
· Strong analytical skills with ability to gather & trend data to provide data-driven guidance on business decisions.
· Knowledge of PCB design and software tools
· Knowledge of electrical schematics and symbols and how to interpret them
· Initiative and quick action to drive solutions.
· Project management skills for small projects.
· Knowledge of continuous improvement and process optimization.
· Effective communication for collaboration with teams.
· Travel up to 10%, both domestically and internationally.

PAY RANGE TRANSPARENCY
Procept is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role represents a base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Procept utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
We’ll provide you training for, and ask you to maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance. We would also ask you to understand and adhere to the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality & EHS policies.
