Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Firmware Engineer to lead and guide firmware projects in embedded systems development.

Key Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for advancements in best practices for clients and the company
• Develop, program, review, and test firmware, products, and electronics
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and lead cross-functional teams to define project goals

Required Qualifications

• At least 15 years of relevant professional experience in embedded systems development
• Proficient in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Rust, and Assembly
• Experience with various operating systems including Bare-metal, FreeRTOS, and Linux
• Familiarity with multiple communication protocols and drivers like UART, I2C, and BLE
• Knowledge of development tools including IDEs, Docker, and CI/CD pipeline configuration
