Principal Concept Artist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Concept Artist to work on a new project in the Narrative Game division.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with Art Directors to establish visual targets for the new game
• Set the standard for visual quality and develop art guides for concept artists
• Design characters, environments, and props while collaborating with 3D artists and providing feedback during production

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of game experience as a concept artist
• Versatile art style with the ability to create both rough and polished 2D artwork
• Strong understanding of the 3D art pipeline and human/animal anatomy
• Complete mastery of Maya and Adobe Creative Suite
• Art Degree or similar working experience
