Intro and job overview: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Business Process Architect to drive operational excellence and transformational projects across our organization. This individual will act as a trusted consultant to process owners, leading complex process improvement projects.  This role is part of an enterprise transformation office and will help team by the application of advanced methodologies. Leveraging the DMAIC framework and other best practices, the Business Process Architect will facilitate measurable and sustainable improvements, aligning with strategic objectives.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • Strategic Consulting: Partner with process owners and executive leaders to identify, assess, and prioritize opportunities for process optimization.
  • Lead DMAIC and DFSS Projects: Manage high-impact initiatives using Six Sigma and Design for Six Sigma methodologies to drive measurable improvements and foster innovation.
  • Apply Design Thinking: Incorporate design thinking methods to ensure user-centric solutions that align with organizational goals and enhance customer experiences.
  • Facilitate Cross-Functional Collaboration: Guide teams through process improvement journeys, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering accountability.
  • Mentorship and Development: Act as a coach and mentor, empowering team members to adopt and apply process improvement tools effectively.
  • Metrics-Driven Impact: Work with team to Define and analyze key performance indicators to evaluate pain points, solutions and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Drive Cultural Change: Promote a culture of operational excellence by advocating for data-driven decision-making and continuous learning.
  • Documentation and Standardization: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of workflows, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and scalability.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in business process management, process improvement, or a similar role, with demonstrated success in leading high-complexity projects.
  • Certification: Required: Six Sigma Black Belt certification.     Preferred: Master Black Belt certification.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio) and analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to influence, engage, and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge Base: Deep understanding of Lean principles, DMAIC methodology, and organizational change management frameworks.
  • Extensive experience facilitating enterprise-level process transformations. 
  • Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques. 
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts to diverse audiences. 
  • Experience in industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, finance, or technology is a plus. 

This role can be completely remote but the candidate needs to be located on the East Coast only.
