Job Summary

A company is looking for a Specialist in Physician Referral Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate centralized referrals for physicians, including outbound and inbound calls
• Schedule appointments, register patients, and facilitate triage using multiple electronic healthcare systems
• Provide high-level customer service and support for the Referral Team within the Patient Access Center

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of customer service experience, with medical field experience required
• Preferred experience in referral coordination and insurance referral/precertification
• Familiarity with EMR systems such as E-Centaurus, Cerner, and Careweb
• Knowledge of medical terminology
