Director of Finance Applications

We are looking for a super motivated, experienced and talented Director of Finance Applications to join us and serve as a key and senior member of the Finance Team.

This role involves planning, execution and support of systems and related processes that are key to proper delivery of our Finance Team.

The ideal candidate will be a strong collaborator with internal departments and external vendors, and play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and efficient execution of key finance processes from initiation through reporting.

What you’ll be spending your time on:

• Oversight and leadership of selection, design, testing, and deployment of Finance platforms across global Company sites
• Supporting critical finance processes, including period end close and execution of internal control over financial reporting
• Monitoring and control of system health, interfaces, and data exchanges
• Global support to end-users
• Defining applicable roadmap for execution in alignment with the Finance Organization priorities and focus areas
• Building and maintaining effective, consistent cross-team collaboration between IT, MIS and the Finance Organization
• Planning and execution of assigned budgets

The position will report to the Senior Director of Finance Operations

Have you done this kind of stuff?

• 5+ years of experience in leading implementations / management of finance information systems at a multinational company
• Demonstrated experience in team management (5+ professionals)
• Strong service orientation and desire to respond to user community opportunities and challenges
• Proven ability to speak both Information Systems and Finance/Accounting languages
• Excellent communication skills and motivation to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Proficiency in English
