Role Overview:
Hunter Point Capital LP ("HPC") is seeking an Intern for the summer of 2025 to support its Capital Formation team, which is responsible for HPC's Investor Relations, Marketing and Fundraising efforts. The Capital Formation function is a 17-person global team that raises capital for HPC while also providing strategic guidance and services to our GP Partners. The majority of the team is based in HPC's NYC headquarters, where the internship will be located. This internship is a great opportunity to learn more about the private markets ecosystem, both the fundraising and project management sides of capital formation, and collaborate with a friendly and hardworking team.
Schedule: Internship dates will be June 2 through August 1, 2025. This is an in-person internship that will be in office Monday through Thursday with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
Responsibilities:
• Track investor feedback and maintain HPC's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, Deal Cloud
• Support Capital Formation team members on various capital raising initiatives
• Assist in creating customized marketing materials for specific Limited Partners or projects
• Work on various ad hoc projects including but not limited to research and reporting, drafting emails, market mapping, etc.
• Support team members with materials in a timely and accurate manner
Qualifications
• Currently enrolled undergraduate, preferably with a major in Business, Economics, Marketing, Communications, or other relevant fields.
• You must be at least a rising Junior and have completed your Freshman and Sophomore years to be considered for this opportunity.
• Experience in MS Office Suite (Power Point, Word and Excel)
• Experience in business writing is a plus
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills (written and oral) and ability to interact with senior professionals both inside and outside of HPC
• Ownership mindset with maturity and pride of work product
• Ability to learn quickly on the job and employ critical thinking
• Prior professional experience, ideally in an office environment
This is a paid internship opportunity. While we operate in a specialized segment of the alternatives investment space, we are open to working with individuals of all academic backgrounds.
Pay: This position offers compensation at a rate equivalent to $62,400 per year (which equates to $30 an hour). Compensation will be paid on the basis of prorated salary (i.e., candidates will be paid a salary amount on HPC's regular semi-monthly paydays).
