Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Financial Counselor (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients and families with financial clearance, payment collection, and financial assistance
• Identify eligibility and provide education on State and Federal sponsorship programs
• Complete and submit applications for various financial assistance programs

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two or more years of experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare business office
• Minimum of three years of experience as a Patient Financial Advocate Associate, preferably within the organization
• Experience with automated, computerized account follow-up systems, preferably in Epic
