Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Specialist - Remote (OR & WA).

Key Responsibilities

• Screen patients and process Financial Assistance Applications, verifying eligibility and making account adjustments
• Communicate with patients to address inquiries, assist with payment arrangements, and ensure timely resolution of account balances
• Perform data entry and maintain customer databases, documenting all interactions and processing necessary transactions

Required Qualifications

• Preferred college coursework in Accounting, Business, Medical Technology, Communications, or Social Work
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in collections, customer service, billing, or a related medical field
• Familiarity with government, commercial, and third-party billing is preferred
• Proficient in MS Office applications and data entry skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with limited supervision
