About the Role
As our new Talent Coordinator, you’ll join on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organisation. We're looking for a dynamic individual to help streamline and optimise interview scheduling for a seamless hiring experience. You'll drive innovative projects that elevate our Talent function, boost our Talent Team's capacity with your invaluable support, and enhance the candidate journey with smoother, more organised hiring processes. Your Key Contributions:
- Project and Process Support: Providing strategic project support to the Head of Talent, working on initiatives to enhance our hiring processes and candidate experience. Identifying and implementing practical improvements to boost efficiency across recruitment tasks.
- Supporting Recruitment Efforts: Assisting Talent Partners with interview arrangements and candidate communication, ensuring clear and straightforward recruitment processes, and providing support with delivery as needed.
- Coordination Support: Maintaining data and project trackers, managing recruitment documentation, and supporting the delivery of each role. Gathering and reporting on recruitment metrics to monitor progress and highlight areas for improvement, providing regular updates to the Head of Talent for data-driven decision-making.
- Supporting Learning & Development (L&D): Assisting with L&D initiatives and maintaining updated records, ensuring training and development activities are well documented.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Experience with:
- Managing diaries and coordinating schedules in a fast-paced setting.
- Handling administrative tasks and supporting Talent or People functions.
Knowledge of:
- Talent or People software, including applicant tracking systems and common communication tools (e.g. Workable, Slack, Outlook, Teams).
- Good practices for engaging with candidates and streamlining processes.
Previous Exposure to:
- Project management or handling small-scale projects within a Talent or People environment.
- Supporting Learning & Development or training activities.
An Active Interest in:
- Enhancing the employee development and candidate experience and supporting Talent teams with practical solutions.
- Learning new methods and tools to improve operational efficiency and support the wider People & Culture team.
