About the role:
Join our dynamic team as an Associate Manager INT, VM at OUAI. We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented individual to assist in the development and execution of captivating visual merchandising strategies for our lifestyle brand. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the brand's image and driving sales through compelling visual displays. This role will report to the Sr. Manager, Visual Merchandising.
What You'll Do:
- Support all visual merchandising (VM) related graphic updates and animations for international retailers, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and global execution plans
- Create and manage 2D planograms; partner with Sales to initiate assortments and layouts for each retailer
- Liaise with the Sr. Manager, Visual Merchandising to build and implement global VM strategies
- Maintain, update, and create dielines for VM graphics, price rails, and shelf strips for each international launch Prepare and package all artwork for submission
- Collaborate with the Creative Brand Sr. Manager and Graphic Designers to ensure all VM assets are visually cohesive and aligned with brand guidelines
- Review, route, and manage dielines, instruction sheets, engineering drawings, and prototypes as needed in partnership with the Sr. Manager
- Manage and organize a system for storing final renders, graphics, instruction sheets, in-store photos, and prototypes for easy cross-functional access
- Liaise with the Copywriter and translation partners to develop and manage timely, accurate translated copy for graphics and VM assets
- Update the merchandising live deck with each refresh, highlighting new additions and removals
- Support retailer presentations, internal meetings, and summit meetings as needed
- Conduct industry analysis and maintain a database of visual merchandising resources and trends.
- Partner with vendors to ensure best-in-class execution; provide timely feedback and guidance to avoid production delays
- Initiate creative briefs with Project Managers and coordinate tester shipments to vendors when needed
- Uphold brand standards while fostering a collaborative and positive work environment
What You'll Bring:

- BFA/BA in Design, Industrial Design, or related field
- 2+ years of visual merchandising experience in the beauty or a related consumer-facing industry
- Highly driven, energetic, flexible, and a collaborative team player
- Strong presentation and communication skills; able to clearly convey ideas to cross-functional teams
- Deep understanding of the beauty retail landscape, including key partners like Sephora and international markets
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong, well-rounded design skills, including a solid foundation in graphic design
- Meticulous attention to detail and flawless execution; strong knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
- Ability to convey concepts effectively through 2D drawings and 3D renderings
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with 3DS Max and IWD is a plus
- Annual Base Salary Range is $65,000 - $75,000K (based on experience)
