Optical Network Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Optical Network Architect to lead the design and optimization of their regional optical network.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and set the technical direction for the regional optical network, including DWDM and packet transport
• Develop designs for optical, packet, and IP infrastructure; perform installations and configurations
• Conduct capacity planning and performance analysis to ensure high availability and resiliency

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of ten years of relevant experience in Optical, Transport, MPLS/Segment Routing, BGP, routing, switching, IPv4/IPv6, and EVPN
