Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer 2 - Nuclear Power.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical design deliverables, including general arrangement and piping layout drawings using 3D modeling software
• Lead the mechanical design team in coordinating detailed design phases and resolving discrepancies in the 3D model
• Mentor less experienced drafters and designers while ensuring timely completion of design tasks

Required Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of detailed design experience in mechanical plant design
• Proficiency in SmartPlant S3D modeling software and understanding of SPID and SPF integration
• Experience with clash detection and discrepancy checks between deliverables
• Ability to review project deliverables and vendor drawings
• Experience interfacing with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams
