The Director of Amazon will deliver acquisition, reactivation, and retention strategies to drive profitable growth on Amazon. This role will develop, execute, and optimize comprehensive marketing strategies that deliver revenue growth, enhance brand visibility, and increase customer engagement strategy, with a focus on growing our subscriber base to drive engagement, retention, and lifetime value.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Amazon Strategic Growth: Develop strategies to attract and acquire new customers on Amazon. Improve Amazon’s retention strategy and approach to CRM, including defining KPIs, customer segmentation, and the customer journey.
- Budget Management: Manage budget and advertising spend, and find new ways to attract/retain customers, while driving revenue.
- Consumer Engagement: Design and implement customer retention strategies to increase loyalty, improve customer retention rate & reduce churn.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze market trends, buying trends and customer behaviors, to make informed marketing decisions. Use marketing KPIs to measure success and pivot strategies when necessary.
- Partnerships & Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with eCommerce, marketing, supply chain, and finance. Develop and own the partnership and communications with external agency partners and vendors.
- Brand Development: Elevate and maintain the company’s brand image ensuring consistency in messaging and visual identity.
- 8-10 years of eCommerce experience or related digital marketing roles working on high growth brands; Amazon account management experience required.
- A GM mindset with a deep knowledge of all things Amazon including P&L management, full funnel marketing strategies and management of diverse business models (1P, 3P, Hybrid)
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and improving customer acquisition and retention through data-driven marketing strategies.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills with a track record of successful outcomes with vendor managers and internal cross-functional partners
- Digital experience leading retail readiness including (SEO, content health scoring, and 3rd party/retailer platforms).
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to create cross-functional and leadership buy-in.
- Highly organized, detail oriented and self-motivated
- Proficient in Excel, Visualization Tools (i.e. Power BI) and other MS Office products
