Job Summary

A company is looking for a Certified Pharmacy Technician - Remote US.

Key Responsibilities

• Process prior authorization (PA) requests within mandated state timeframes and complete approvals when pharmacist review isn't required
• Field and resolve provider inquiries on first contact; document all interactions accurately in the appropriate systems
• Conduct proactive outreach to providers to obtain missing information and close PA cases

Required Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician registration with a Board of Pharmacy or national certification (PTCB, ExCPT, etc.)
• 2+ years' experience as a pharmacy tech (retail, hospital, managed care, PBM or insurance)
• Strong knowledge of drug names, medical terminology, and pharmacy insurance/claims processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn internal systems quickly
