Director of Retail Operations

The Director of Retail Operations at NYC Alliance Company LLC will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the overall performance of our retail stores. This pivotal role involves developing and implementing strategies that drive operational excellence, improve customer experience, and maximize profitability across all retail locations. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a deep understanding of retail operations, with a focus on delivering results aligned with the company's vision and goals. Reports to SVP, Retail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of retail operations, including store performance, inventory management, and customer service.
• Develop and execute operational strategies that drive sales growth and maximize profitability.
• Oversee store openings, closings, and relocations, ensuring adherence to corporate standards and objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as merchandising, marketing, and HR to align efforts and drive growth.
• Analyze sales data and operational performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Implement and monitor performance metrics to ensure stores achieve and exceed business objectives.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation among store management teams.
• Provide training and development programs for store leaders to enhance their skills and capabilities.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and external vendors.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations across all retail locations.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• 8+ years of experience in retail operations management, with a proven track record at the director level.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Extensive knowledge of retail best practices and operational metrics.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
• Proficiency in retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
• Willingness to travel to retail locations as needed.

• The offered salary for this position will vary based on role requirements determined by NYC Alliance, skill set and years of experience.
