Non-QM Mortgage Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Non-QM Mortgage Underwriter responsible for underwriting Jumbo/Non-QM loans and ensuring compliance with investor guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite Jumbo/Non-QM loans to investor guidelines
• Communicate regularly with Loan Officers and Processors regarding loan status
• Maintain current knowledge of products and assist with training needs of other mortgage positions

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of underwriting experience with Jumbo and Non-QM loans
• Recent experience underwriting Non-QM loans to investor guidelines
• Demonstrated knowledge of DU and LP input
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email systems
• Proven leadership skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
