Job Summary

A company is looking for a Behavioral Medical Director, responsible for overseeing the Utilization Management Program and performing peer reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure delivery of cost-effective quality care that incorporates recovery and person-centered services
• Oversee utilization review, management, and care coordination activities
• Maintain clinical integrity of the program through timely peer reviews and consultations with providers

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy
• Current unrestricted physician license
• Board certified in Psychiatry
• Knowledge of post-acute care planning and disease management
• Demonstrated understanding of engagement, empowerment, rehabilitation, and recovery principles
