Network Outreach Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Outreach Specialist I.

Key Responsibilities:

• Make outbound validation calls to providers to verify demographic details for practice locations
• Contact members regarding preventive health activities and respond to provider inquiries
• Assist provider offices with credentialing issues and maintain call documentation for outreach projects

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service or telephone sales, preferably in a Managed Care environment
• Some experience with healthcare provider practices and office managers
• Knowledge of the health insurance industry
• Proficient in personal computers and software applications, including MS Office products
