NBCUniversal is a subsidiary of Comcast Corporation.

Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('SpinCo') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description

NBCUniversal is seeking a Director, Creative Strategy for its Portfolio Creative Team – a part of NBCUniversal’s Creative Partnerships Group. The team is NBCU Advertising Sales’ creative hub, overseeing the development and execution of multi-network, multi-platform creative marketing, media and content solutions for advertisers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategy and creative for multi-network, multi-platform partnership programs
  • Oversee pitch materials to bring ideas to life both for internal stakeholders and external clients
  • Proactively seek new and innovative solutions for creative partnership programs
  • Lead creative brainstorm sessions
  • Serve as managerial point on creative partnership programs, including client management, multi-network partnership management and production management
  • Manage junior level executives to support creative development and management
  • Must be able to work outside of normal business hours as job duties or assignments require, sometime with little or no advance notification
  • Ability to travel as required

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• 7+ years experience at a media company, marketing agency, or similar with an emphasis on custom creative solutions development
• Experienced in account/project management and client management
• Strong writing, communications and presentation skills
• Able to effectively translate creative concepts into executable strategies and presentations
• A strong understanding of creative and production processes

 

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range: $115,000 - $145,000 (SIC and long-term incentive eligible)
