Human Resources (HR) Manager

As the HR Manager, you will lead the recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations efforts for MOD’s Morocco team. You will build and implement HR systems, develop a dynamic and inclusive culture, and scale recruitment processes to hire hundreds of Virtual Assistants and staff, supporting MOD’s growth and expansion goals. This role requires a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and is eager to shape the future of MOD’s presence in Africa. Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:

  • Lead the recruitment of talented Virtual Assistants (VAs) and key staff for the Casablanca Business Unit, with an eye on future expansion across Morocco and into other African countries.
  • Develop creative and effective sourcing strategies to attract top-tier talent.
  • Partner with recruitment agencies, universities, and professional networks to build a strong and diverse talent pipeline.
  • Utilize software applications and technologies for streamlined candidate evaluation and onboarding.

HR Operations and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with Moroccan labor laws and regulations, while preparing HR best practices for expansion into additional African countries.
  • Collaborate with legal, accounting, and payroll partners to manage payroll, benefits, and tax compliance.
  • Develop and implement HR systems and workflows using technology platforms to ensure operational efficiency and ISO compliance.

Culture and Employee Engagement:

  • Build and foster a dynamic, inclusive workplace culture that supports employee well-being and productivity.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, handling employee relations with empathy and discretion.
  • Develop employee engagement programs and initiatives to support retention and growth.Training and Development:
  • MOD utilizes training and development platforms to ensure that VAs are highly- skilled and client-ready.
  • Conduct leadership and compliance training that align with organizational goals.
  • Utilize software and applications to monitor training effectiveness and improve productivity across teams, enabling staff to maximize their potential and excel in their roles.

Strategic Growth and Scalability:

  • • Design scalable HR frameworks to support MOD’s rapid growth in Morocco and throughout Africa.
  • • Establish partnerships and recruitment networks to support future expansion.
  • • Provide data-driven insights on workforce trends, recruitment performance, and employee engagement.

Experience and Skills:

  • 5+ years of HR experience, including recruitment, employee relations, and compliance.
  • Proven experience managing high-volume recruitment, ideally within the outsourcing or service industries.
  • Strong knowledge of Moroccan labor laws; familiarity with hiring practices across Morocco and Africa is a significant advantage.
  • Expertise in leveraging technology, including software platforms and applications, to improve recruitment and retention processes.
  • Proficiency in HR technology systems and applicant tracking systems (ATS). MOD is a technology driven company that supports a remote and mobile workforce.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver results.
  • Fluency in English, with strong multi-lingual skills, in addition to Arabic and French.
