Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter III responsible for underwriting Government and Conventional loans.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage individual pipeline by completing underwriting reviews and conditions reviews within defined turn times
• Identify document deficiencies, add conditions, and request additional information from customers as needed
• Assist department colleagues in interpreting underwriting guidelines and updating status and conditions to customers

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of related experience in the Mortgage Industry or Residential Mortgage Loan underwriting
• High school diploma required
• Advanced knowledge of the residential mortgage industry, including relevant products and services
• Advanced knowledge of regulatory and legal compliance obligations and industry standards
• Advanced knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and USDA Guidelines
