This role will be based in our New York office, currently working a hybrid work schedule in the office 3 days a week.
Moonbug Entertainment is looking for a Sr Director, Partner Strategy and Creative Solutions to lead our brand strategy, creative, and branded production teams. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing brand strategy for our various digital media properties, managing the response process through a client-centric strategic and creative approach across all parts of Moonbug Partner Solutions, including production, as well as managing client relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience in brand strategy, creative and strategic expertise, production background, and a passion for developing effective brand and creative strategies that drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute partner strategy and client centric responses for Moonbug Entertainment's various digital media properties, using Moonbug Partner Solutions offering.
- Manage and mentor the brand strategy, creative and branded production teams (“dotted line”), providing leadership and guidance to ensure team success
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, and serve as an important point of contact for client communications, along with the seller and client success team.
- Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality work and managing client expectations
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to streamline the brand strategy and client-centric response process to make sure we serve our clients and partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, and insights, to ensure that brand strategy aligns with business objectives
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in brand strategy, creative and production, and incorporate them into our processes and strategies
- Developing and implementing strategic plans to drive revenue through partner solutions.
- Identifying and pursuing new partnership opportunities that align with Moonbug's overall business goals.
- Contributing to the development of pricing strategies and deal structures for partner solutions.
- Analyzing market trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
- Acting as a key stakeholder in broader company strategic planning, providing input on market trends, partner needs, and creative opportunities.
- Ensuring alignment between partner strategy and content development, distribution, and licensing strategies.
- Working closely with the sales team to develop effective sales pitches and materials.
- Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of partner strategies and creative solutions.
- Providing regular reports and presentations to senior management on performance, trends, and opportunities.
- Using data and analytics to optimize partner strategies and improve ROI.
- Continuously evaluating and improving workflows and processes to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Implementing project management tools and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Establishing and enforcing quality control standards for creative and production deliverables.
- Creating and managing budgets for the brand strategy, creative, and production teams.
- Monitoring expenses and ensuring that projects are delivered within budgetary constraints.
- Providing ongoing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to team members.
- Ensuring that all partner agreements and creative materials comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Working with legal counsel to address any legal or contractual issues.
- Providing strategic creative direction and oversight for all partner-related projects.
- Ensuring that creative concepts and executions are aligned with brand guidelines and client objectives.
- Staying abreast of emerging creative trends and technologies.
- Other responsibilities as assigned
- 10+ years of experience in brand strategy and client services, with experience in the digital media or entertainment industry preferred
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading teams and managing client relationships
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and with clients
- Strong understanding of brand strategy principles and best practices
- Ability to think strategically and develop effective brand strategies that drive business growth
- Experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field
- Experience managing client relationships and developing effective brand strategies
- Familiarity with digital media platforms and the children's media or entertainment industry
- Ability to lead and mentor a team to success
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify insights that inform brand strategy
- Passion for developing effective brand strategies that drive business growth

Salary: $225,000-260,000 DOE
