Modeling and Simulation Lead Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Modeling & Simulation Analysis - Lead Engineer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop high fidelity structural and thermal analyses using tools like NASTRAN, ANSYS Mechanical, and ANSYS Fluent
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance to M&S engineers and collaborate with product teams to define analysis objectives
  • Document analysis plans and estimate labor hours for modeling tasks, ensuring technical quality of work products
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in thermal/fluid and/or structural/vibration analysis of mechanical systems
  • At least 1 year of project or functional management experience in modeling and simulation
  • Prior experience with ANSYS Mechanical and/or ANSYS Fluent
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without corporate sponsorship and comply with ITAR regulations
