Missouri Licensed Prior Authorization Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Prior Authorization Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate patient information, scheduled test/surgery details, and insurance data to ensure accuracy in medical records
• Communicate professionally with provider offices, insurance companies, and patients to facilitate authorization processes
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to support authorization for various hospital services, including Ancillary and Surgery Authorizations

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Associate's Degree preferred
• 5-10 years of relevant experience preferred
• CHAA certification preferred
