MIP Development Scholar

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Future MIP Development Scholar (Global Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Learn about the Gurobi Optimizer and interact with customers to understand their challenges
• Develop code for the core MIP Engine and design, implement, and benchmark new algorithmic ideas
• Write tests, technical articles, and documentation, and present new features at technical conferences

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in operations research, computer science, or a similar discipline (Ph.D. preferred)
• Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, C, or C++
• Knowledge of linear algebra theory
• Basic system administration skills (Linux)
• Strong commitment to continuous learning
