Mercier Consultancy is seeking a German Speaking Customer Service Agent for our Online Travel Agency team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer support to our German-speaking clients, assisting them with their travel inquiries and ensuring a smooth booking experience. Your primary responsibilities will include answering questions, resolving issues related to travel itineraries, and delivering outstanding service in all customer interactions. Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries in German via phone, email, and chat regarding travel services and bookings.
• Provide detailed information about travel options, itineraries, and pricing.
• Assist customers with booking modifications and cancellation requests.
• Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally to maximize satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions for quality assurance purposes.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure service consistency and effectiveness.
• Stay updated on travel regulations, offers, and industry trends to offer informed support.

• Fluency in German and English, both spoken and written.
• Previous experience in customer service, particularly in the travel industry, is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to manage and resolve customer issues effectively and empathetically.
• Familiarity with online booking systems and travel-related software is a plus.
• A passion for travel and a good understanding of travel products and services.
