Your next role as a Miracle Maker
Cygnus Technologies, a Maravai LifeSciences company, is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our Manufacturing Operations team as a Manufacturing Operations Intern. We are seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Operations Intern to support our continuous improvement efforts within Cygnus Technologies manufacturing environment. This role offers hands-on experience in optimizing material flow, enhancing workplace organization through 5S, and contributing to key process improvement initiatives. In this role you will help Identify gaps, make recommendations and implement improvements .
How you will make an impact:
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
- Support 5S initiatives to improve workplace organization and safety
- Analyze and optimize material flow throughout the production floor
- Draft standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to support consistent operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement projects
- Collect and analyze data to support improvement recommendations
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus
