Licensed Therapist for Veterans

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Licensed Therapist Contractor specializing in Veteran and Military Mental Health.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group interventions for patients coping with mental health diagnoses and psychosocial stressors
• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments and cognitive screenings to determine patient needs and appropriate treatment
• Deliver emergency/crisis interventions and maintain knowledge of Veteran's benefits and community resources for referrals

Required Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice independently in any state (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW)
• Education: Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field, or a doctoral degree in psychology
• Minimum of 2 years of independent therapy experience
• Preferred experience with veterans and military members
• Familiarity with DSM5 clinical presentations and evidence-based psychological interventions
