Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Data Architect to oversee data platform initiatives on AWS with a focus on healthcare data and AI enablement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement an enterprise-wide data architecture strategy for interoperability and AI/ML readiness
• Design and maintain scalable, secure data lakes and optimize data storage and retrieval strategies
• Collaborate with data science teams to implement embedding models and manage vector storage systems

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
• 8-12+ years of experience in data architecture, including 3-5 years in a technical leadership role
• Proven experience with AWS-based data lakes and healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7)
• Expertise in embedding models and vector storage solutions
• Hands-on experience with Amazon S3 and data security compliance frameworks (HIPAA, HITRUST)
