Traveling Sr. AV Field Engineer (Tri-State Area)

Job Overview: 

As a Senior AV Field Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of audiovisual (AV) systems in diverse locations. This is a traveling position that requires flexibility to work on-site across various geographic areas. The ideal candidate will possess advanced expertise in AV systems, hold a CTS certification, and have a proven track record of delivering high-quality installations and services. You will collaborate with clients, project managers, and technical teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of AV solutions. Candidates must be able to travel tri-state area for 80% of the time, all mileage/ travel expenses paid for.

CTS certification required.

• Lead the installation and configuration of AV systems, including video conferencing, digital signage, sound systems, displays, and control systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve AV system issues, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Work closely with project managers to review project scope, timelines, and technical specifications.
• Perform system testing, commissioning, and handover to clients, ensuring all systems meet customer expectations.
• Conduct on-site system maintenance and upgrades, providing technical support as needed.
• Maintain detailed documentation of installations, system configurations, and customer interactions.
• Provide training to clients on the operation and maintenance of AV systems.
• Stay updated on the latest AV technologies, trends, and best practices.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and company protocols for safety, quality, and compliance.
