Lab Technician

We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual for a temporary Lab Technician role. The selected candidate will assist in a variety of electrical, mechanical, and quality assurance activities, including testing, inspection, assembly, and lab support tasks. This is a hands-on position in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and the ability to work independently are essential. This is a 4-6 week temp position

• Perform electrical and mechanical tests, inspections, and assembly activities.
• Execute in-house testing, assemble equipment, and collect data (e.g., charts, tables).
• Fabricate and assemble low-volume prototype or production equipment.
• Conduct tests and inspections of electrical and mechanical equipment and prototypes.
• Maintain lab supplies and equipment, ensuring proper organization and availability.
• Monitor and manage inventory, including tools, consumables, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Accept deliveries and notify appropriate parties.
• Assist with calibration and maintenance of measurement and test equipment (M&TE).
• Conduct inspections and audits to support quality assurance activities.
• Assist in defining and enforcing lab practices, including safety guidelines.
• Support administrative tasks related to lab operations and safety programs.
• Assist with visitor access control and facility inspections.
• Perform standard electrical and mechanical laboratory tests under supervision if required.
