ASC Nurse Manager

Riverside Eye Surgery Center is seeking an ASC Nurse Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our beautiful, brand new Ambulatory Surgical Center. As the Manager, you'll be the go-to person for providing physicians with all the resources they need to deliver excellent patient care while meeting our financial goals.
Requirements of the Nurse Manager: - 2+ years of nursing management experience, ideally in an operating room setting.
- BS from accredited School of Nursing required, Master’s Degree is highly desirable.
- Current Maine State Nursing license required.
- CPR Certification for Health Care Providers.
- Previous experience in Ophthalmology is preferred.
- Familiarity with Medicare certification through Joint Commission is valuable.
- Experience with electronic health records in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC).
- Ability to work onsite in Lewiston, Maine.

Responsibilities of the ASC Nurse Manager: - Develop and implement procedures that focus on quality, safety, and patient comfort.
- Create seamless admission and discharge processes to ensure patients have a smooth experience.
- Strategically plan and recommend new initiatives for continuous improvement.
- Support your team's growth and development through hiring and continuous coaching, and evaluation.
- Build strong relationships with physicians, employees, managers, and vendors, fostering collaboration and outstanding patient care.
- Uphold our positive image by delivering outstanding service and professionalism in all interactions.
- Ensure Compliance with State of Maine Licensing requirements and regulatory guidelines to maintain operational standards and avoid violations.
- Adhere to Joint Commission Standards by meeting accreditation and quality measures.
- Monitor and improve efficiency across clinical operations and optimize workflow.
- Manage budgets by overseeing costs and expenses.
- Implement Infection Control procedures to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
