Title:               Sr. Group Account Director, Business Development (S4)

Location:        Remote – US

Reports to:     Division SVP Client Services and Business Development
 

The Role:   

The Sr. Group Account Director, Business Development Senior Manager Business Development will be tasked with the identification, creation and nurturing of professional relationships through select large dealer groups, direct use customers and VAR Partners that sell products and services that include our data. This position will specifically focus on building revenue growth for J.D. Power, ChromeData brand. This role will help our clients identify and define their key client challenges and provide suggested data and application solutions from ChromeData. Reporting to the Senior Director Business Development this position will coordinate and execute on the sales strategy with their assigned accounts and develop new revenue growth opportunities

 
The Impact You Will Have in This Role:  

In this role, you will have the opportunity to establish yourself as an expert in the automotive industry utilizing the data, product and services of ChromeData to solve the most complex automotive industry challenges for your clients.   You will work with clients on solutions that will drive success in their business. You will regularly present to and interact with an audience of high-ranking automotive industry executives supporting your client engagements in the very exciting, dynamic, and complex automotive industry. 

  

What You’ll Be Doing in This Role: 

  • Drive revenue growth for the company
  • Identify and nurture new opportunities, connect with current and new clients/customers, drive discovery within client meetings/presentations, follow-up with specific recommendations, actions, packages and pricing
  • Build trusted and valued relationships with our client partners and internal company stakeholders
  • Continue to educate our partners and dealers on the value of our products and services
  • Responsible for outreach to existing and new clients to support key engagements
  • Develop client proposals and recommendations – PowerPoint presentations, proposals to summarize recommendation, pricing and expected results
  • Utilize Salesforce to record and consistently update weekly pipeline and next steps to support business
  • Quota-driven business development plan to reward year-over-year growth
  • Assist in the development and execution of a cross-sell strategy for your assigned accounts and new clients
  • Work with key clients and develop a marketing plan with clear objectives, for our mutual success
  • Work with key clients to setup key performance indicators for monthly and quarterly review
  • Work with internal teams to determine the best tools and solutions in order to drive acquisition, conquest, and sales across different solutions
  • Proactively provide partner feedback that can be utilized for future product enhancements and product development and provide feedback loop to ensure value input into our innovation roadmap
  • Build company credibility, brand value, and trust with your partners and their prospective customers
  • Participate in sales and channel development strategies to assist the company in optimizing information related to the industry and customer needs 

Qualifications of this Role: 

  • Demonstrable experience in data sales (DaaS), product sales (SaaS)
  • Demonstrable experience in developing C Suite relationships
  • Must have worked in the Auto industry in VAR Partner, Finance Partner, Marketing or Advertising
  • Ability and passion to be a trusted advisor for your clients on all things
  • Earn the trust of the client executives based on your ability to identify business challenges and bring meaningful solutions to solve them
  • Must be a self-starter and take initiative for driving the business
  • Proficient with Salesforce and Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Deep knowledge of multi-channel automotive marketing with strong digital or VAR Partner background
  • Understand multi-tier automotive landscape with ability to identify how ChromeData solutions can apply to current market trends  
  • Strong communication skills with ability to develop and maintain strong personal and professional relationships with our clients 
  • Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
