About The Role:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and creative Email Marketing Coordinator to join our Retention team and support the execution of email and SMS marketing campaigns, lifecycle journeys, and loyalty initiatives. If you enjoy marketing automation, campaign building, customer segmentation, and brainstorming new campaign ideas, this role is for you.

As an Email Marketing Coordinator, you will play a key role in building, testing, and optimizing email and SMS marketing campaigns, ensuring they drive engagement, retention, and revenue. You will also contribute to lifecycle marketing strategies, including journey mapping, segmentation, and loyalty program support.


We’re looking for someone who is creative, analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about email marketing and customer engagement.



Duties and Responsibilities
  • Including but not limited to:
Email & SMS Campaign Execution:
  • Build and deploy marketing and automated email/SMS campaigns (promotions, flows, product launches, retention initiatives).
  • Coordinate segmentation and audience targeting within our ESP (Klaviyo, Iterable, BloomReach, Braze, or similar).
  • Set up and schedule A/B tests to optimize subject lines, content, CTAs, and send times.
  • Assist in campaign performance tracking, reporting, and insights gathering.
Lifecycle Marketing & Customer Journeys: 
  • Assist in building and optimizing customer journeys (welcome flows, post-purchase, re-engagement, win-back, and loyalty).
  • Develop and refine customer segmentation strategies to enhance personalization.
  • Support loyalty program marketing initiatives, ensuring members receive tailored communications and promotions.
  • Partner with the Brand Team to align lifecycle messaging with overall brand initiatives.
Quality Assurance & Testing Roadmap Execution:
  • Perform QA and testing to ensure emails are error-free, optimized for all devices, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Validate promo codes, links, segmentation, and design elements before deployment.
  • Help execute the testing roadmap for campaigns and lifecycle journeys, analyzing results and iterating on findings.
Creative & Campaign Ideation:
  • Collaborate with the Brand and Creative teams to brainstorm new campaign ideas, themes, and messaging.
  • Stay updated on email marketing trends, personalization tactics, and lifecycle strategies to contribute fresh ideas.
  • Support in developing strategies for engagement-focused campaigns (seasonal promotions, holiday sales, product education, and loyalty incentives).
Optimization & Growth:
  • Monitor and analyze email/SMS performance metrics (open rates, CTR, conversions) and suggest improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance retention, increase LTV, and improve customer experiences. Stay informed on email compliance regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR) and best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in email marketing execution and lifecycle marketing (e-commerce or DTC brand preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience within a related field required. 
  • Proficiency in email platforms (Klaviyo, Iterable, BloomReach, Braze, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of email segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle automation.
  • Basic HTML skills for minor email edits (preferred but not required).
  • Experience with Google Analytics, FullStory, Tableau, or similar analytics tools.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills—able to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • A creative mindset with a passion for testing, experimenting, and optimizing campaigns.
Bonus Points If You Have: 
  • Experience with SMS marketing platforms (Attentive, Postscript, etc.).
  • Familiarity with loyalty programs and retention marketing strategies.
  • Experience working with marketing automation, CDPs, or personalization engines.
  • Ability to interpret data insights and translate them into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Previous experience in beauty, fashion, or e-commerce industries.
