Campaign Marketing Manager

We are seeking a highly strategic and execution-focused GOVX Campaign Manager to oversee and drive our multi-channel marketing initiatives. This role is responsible for managing and optimizing existing and new marketing channels, leading a team of two coordinators, and ensuring our campaigns drive high-intent traffic to our eCommerce site for maximum conversion. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of digital marketing trends, analytics platforms, AI tools, and web merchandising strategies. They must be able to develop comprehensive campaign briefs, communicate effectively and work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners.


Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Calendar Ownership: Own the strategy behind our campaign calendar. Review historic data and tweak the annual calendar based on performance learnings. Develop future calendars always staying 4 quarters ahead. Work with internal stakeholders to take input on seasonal and top partner inclusions within the calendar.
  • Multi-Channel Campaign Management: Oversee and execute marketing campaigns across email, SMS, paid media, organic channels, and emerging platforms to optimize engagement and conversions.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage one coordinators, ensuring seamless execution of lifecycle marketing initiatives.
  • Website & Link Strategy: Optimize the user journey from marketing channels to our eCommerce site to enhance conversion rates. Work closely with web and product teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Campaign Pricing Strategy: Understand the budgets and required margins monthly. Develop pricing strategies for sitewide promotions to support engaging the members while managing within the budget. Ensure all codes, price changes and credits are approved internally, communicated to accounting and finance and implemented.
  • Campaign Briefing & Execution: Develop structured campaign briefs, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and marketing strategies. Partner with agency teams, internal stakeholders, and creative teams to bring campaigns to life. Own the process and push on the operations making changes to streamline and find efficiencies.
  • AI & Digital Trends Integration: Leverage AI tools to enhance campaign performance and personalization. Stay updated on industry trends to keep GOVX ahead of the competition.
  • Analytics & Performance Measurement: Utilize analytics platforms to track, measure, and report on campaign performance, leveraging data to refine strategies and maximize impact. Share the findings with internal stakeholders to drive better decision-making.
  • Merchandising & Web Content Management: Develop and manage landing pages, email merchandising, and website modules within our backend CMS to ensure alignment with campaign objectives.
  • Campaign Scheduling & Deployment: Manage campaign go-lives in Narvar, ensuring alignment across all marketing channels.
  • Performance Marketing Collaboration: Partner with external agencies, including WPromote, to support paid search and social media campaigns that drive incremental growth.
  • AI Product Requests & Web Development Coordination: Work with internal and external web development teams to request AI-driven features and optimize website functionality.
  • Project & Stakeholder Management: Use tools like Jira to manage projects, ensuring smooth execution and cross-functional collaboration.

  • 5+ years of experience in campaign management, digital marketing, or related fields.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-channel marketing campaigns with a strong focus on conversion optimization.
  • Experience leading and mentoring teams, ideally managing marketing coordinators.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in platforms like GA4, Amplitude, or other analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and emerging digital marketing technologies.
  • Experience with eCommerce merchandising, landing pages, and website content management.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leadership.
  • Strong project management experience, with proficiency in Jira or similar tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

 
Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

  • Limited travel may be required for this position

Work Environment

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Work Location

The Campaign Marketing Manager will work 100% onsite at the GOVX Corporate Office in San Diego, CA during their 90-day introductory period, working five days per week with a full eight-hour shift each day.  After successful completion of the 90-day introductory period, the role may transition to a hybrid schedule, working a minimum of three in-office days per week with a full eight-hour shift each day. The in-office days will be set by the manager based on business needs.  No relocation allowance or visa sponsorship will be provided.

Salary Range
$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 annually
