Insurance Specialist IV

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Specialist IV for a full-time remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify the accuracy and completeness of financial, insurance, and demographic information for patients
• Investigate and review insurance information to ensure account security prior to discharge
• Obtain and confirm insurance eligibility, benefits, and requirements including referrals and authorizations

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Two years of experience in healthcare insurance eligibility, verification, or billing in a hospital/medical office
• Experience with insurance payor systems
• EPIC training/experience and ICD-10 medical terminology experience preferred
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products
