Studio Manager

Joining ITG as our new Studio Manager you will help to bring our eComm photography to life through working with our incredible studio teams on our contract with John Lewis & Partners.

Working in a retail-focused environment, you will help to understand and oversee the delivery of content briefs, ensuring that what we deliver meets brand, creative and commercial requirements.

The role:

You’re a Studio Manager, with a strong eCommerce operational background, and an ambition to join a busy, engaged, growing team within a fast-paced studio environment.

We’re looking for someone who wants variety in their role, who is a people person and is happy to be working on-site in our London studio on a daily basis.

You’ll be part of a creative team, overseeing the daily operational running of the studio, delegating and task managing photographers, stylists, studio assistants and set builders including a large pool of freelancers.

Working closely with Production to deliver the required photographic and video shoots across fashion, home and kids. Maintaining strong stakeholder communication, creating clear processes for teams to follow, driving studio standards including H&S management and reporting up to the senior Studio Management team.

You have the ability to think strategically and can be reactive to changing requirements, you’re comfortable working to tight deadlines across a multitude of briefs, making sure to inspire the teams you work with to maintain targets and output quality levels to get the job done to the highest standards.

You’re a thinker and a doer – as happy to be hands on and lead by example to get a project out the door as you are to come up with solutions and efficiencies to implement to drive optimisation and consistency across the content generated.

You’re a confident communicator and can clearly and effectively brief photographic, studio and set build teams with the required output and defined timelines to make sure deliverables are met on time and within budget.

You will be confident and proactive in implementing disciplined and cost-effective photography, studio and set build processes and oversee a structured systematic approach to general studio/workshop housekeeping, H&S policies including training and photographic kit management.

You’re keen to hit the ground running for this on-site role, working to agreed budgets and production processes you will ensure the photographic outcomes are in line with stakeholder expectations and agreed deliverables.
