Role Overview: 

As Man Bites Dog’s Lead Designer you’ll be responsible for providing strategic design input into the B2B campaign content we produce, creating corporate visual identities and building engaging reports, infographics and a range of other visual assets.  

The successful candidate will be able to leverage experience of working in agencies, and on varied B2B content to both lead Man Bites Dog’s design work and be the key delivery lead for turning written content and ideas into finalised assets. They will be happy to work both independently and collaboratively with a range of clients and teams across clients in the financial and professional services sectors through to technology and engineering firms.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Strategic design vision for Man Bites Dog’s client facing content team 
  • High quality delivery of varied design projects including (but not limited to) corporate visual identities & branding, reports & whitepapers, infographics, social content and presentation decks. 
  • Adherence to corporate brand guidelines, and quality control of design work across the business. 
  • Collaboration both with colleagues and clients to understand and respond to the complex requirements of each project. 
  • Guiding other specialisms within the client team in order to optimise projects for design input. 
  • Supporting Man Bites Dog’s own marketing team on the design/production of our own marketing assets, and internal new business initiatives/pitches.  

 

Essential: 

  • 5-10 years B2B and agency experience (some of it agency side, much of it B2B side) 
  • Experience producing corporate visual identities 
  • Deep experience producing a variety of designed assets, including B2B reports (for PDF and web) and infographics 
  • Deep experience of providing design consultancy in a directly client facing role 
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud & Photoshop and/or equivalent 

Desirable: 

  • Data visualisation skills 
  • Video(graphic) design and editing skills 
  • Web design skills and designing for UX / UI 
  • Illustration skills 
  • Experience with AI enhanced design
