IBM Security Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IBM Security Analyst to lead the design and implementation of security controls for IBM i (Power Systems) environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert in securing IBM i environments and lead security initiatives
• Develop and enforce IBM i security architecture and drive automation of compliance reporting
• Collaborate with audit teams to implement security controls and act as a key escalation point for security incidents

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IBM i (Power Systems) administration
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity practices including system hardening and access control
• Proven track record in managing certifications and compliance audits
• Strong understanding of encryption protocols and security frameworks
• Proficiency in scripting or automation for security monitoring and remediation
