IBM i Security Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IBM i Security Analyst to lead the design, implementation, and governance of security controls across IBM i/Power Systems environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert in securing IBM i environments and lead security initiatives
• Develop and enforce IBM i security architecture across multiple business units
• Collaborate with audit and compliance teams to implement effective security controls

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IBM i (Power Systems) administration
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity practices, including system hardening and access control
• Strong understanding of encryption protocols and secure communications in IBM i environments
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework
• Proficiency in scripting or automation for security monitoring and remediation
