Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Design Lead to join our growing team as we enter our next phase of growth after raising our Series B in September. You’ll work directly with our Head of Creative and Growth Lead in addition to working cross functionally with our Engineering, Developer Relations, and Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Ideate, design, and produce world-class designs on a variety of mediums

• Define and maintain Helius’ visual identity, brand guidelines, and media kit

• Build and maintain a scalable design system for all company surface areas

• Lead design for Helius’ website, docs, dashboard, and the XRAY block explorer

• Design interactive experiences and tools (e.g. calculators, staking portals, etc.)

• Create simple and user-friendly onboarding, observability, and checkout flows

• Work with our Head of Creative on video, ads, merch, and sales materials

• Support Growth and BD on go-to-market initiatives for new products and updates

• Inform design decisions through UX research and talking to devs and customers

• Collaborate with other designers to create stunning 3D and motion design

• Provide art direction and ongoing guidance for external agencies and contractors

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in website, brand, or product design roles

• 1+ years of prior work experience in crypto

• Experience designing websites and products for technical audiences

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to adapt quickly

• Comfortable working and adapting in a fast-paced and scrappy environment

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal & external teams

• High degree of ownership and agency, eager to own projects with ambiguity

• Based in North America (preferred)

• 3D, animation, and motion design is a plus
