Healthcare Outreach Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Healthcare Outreach Specialist to facilitate care coordination efforts for members across various operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide positive member interactions and explanations of services while scheduling appointments
• Coordinate care activities in accordance with health plans and referring providers
• Document member interactions and ensure compliance with company and HIPAA guidelines

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college or medical certification preferred
• Previous call center and/or customer service experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and member care preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) is preferred
• Strong technical skills with Microsoft products, especially Excel
