Job Summary

A company is looking for a Counsel, Healthcare Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on compliance with federal and state healthcare laws
• Ensure compliance with payor contracting obligations and utilization management requirements
• Develop and enhance internal policies, procedures, and training programs

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant legal experience, with at least 3 years in healthcare regulatory law
• In-depth understanding of key federal and state healthcare laws and regulations
• Prior in-house counsel experience at a healthcare provider organization
• Familiarity with behavioral health regulatory frameworks and multi-state operations
