Business Development Representative

  • Compensation Range: $110,000 - $150,000 DOE
  • Job Status: Full-time
  • Job Location: Kaysville, UT
  • Travel Requirements: Up to 30%, supporting areas including UT, AZ, NM and TX

Great Basin Industrial is looking for a driven and enthusiastic Business Development Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and expanding our client base in the construction and industrial services sector. You will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining relationships with potential clients, securing meetings, and presenting our services effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and target potential clients through market research and networking.
  • Generate leads and schedule meetings to develop business opportunities.
  • Experience in mining, refining and industrial markets
  • Conduct outreach to prospects via phone calls, emails, and social media.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our services and value propositions.
  • Present and demonstrate our offerings to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and strategies.
  • Document and manage sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the company and network with potential clients.
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented with a strong desire to succeed.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings
  • Ability to attend site visits for jobwalks
  • Ability to complete and initial review of contracts for scope, schedule and identify potential project risks.
  • Travel up to 30%
  • Support areas including UT, AZ, NM and TX
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with the construction or industrial services industry is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
