Position Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for pediatric patients from birth through adolescence, including well-child exams, immunizations, and school/sports physicals.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions such as asthma, infections, developmental delays, and ADHD.
- Educate and support families on nutrition, growth milestones, safety, behavioral health, and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with pediatricians, specialists, nurses, and behavioral health providers to ensure coordinated care.
- Conduct developmental screenings and manage referrals to early intervention or specialty services.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staff training, and clinical team meetings
- Support telehealth visits when needed and participate in community outreach or pediatric health programs.
- Current Nurse Practitioner License in the State of New York
- Board Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-PC or FNP with pediatric experience)
- Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Active DEA license or eligibility to obtain
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support); PALS preferred
- Minimum 1 year of pediatric experience in a clinical setting (new graduates with strong pediatric rotations encouraged to apply)
- Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and family engagement skills
- Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
