Full time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

We are looking for a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to join our dedicated outpatient clinic. As a Therapist, you will conduct assessments, create and implement personalized treatment plans, and facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions. Your role will be essential in empowering clients to navigate their mental health journeys and achieve their personal goals. Additionally, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, provide valuable support to clients and families, and stay informed about best practices to ensure a high standard of care in a supportive setting.

Salary Range: $90,000 to $110,000

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Communicates with physicians to report patient progress, needs, concerns, and potential and actual problems.
  • Consult and coordinate with family and/or support system regarding client treatment and discharge planning.
  • Maintains accurate and timely records including clinical and progress notes according to department policy.
  • Works closely with members of the health care team in the development of the plan of treatment, including discharge plans, based on the psychosocial assessment, and accepted social work interventions.

  • Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active North Dakota state licensure as LMFT.
  • You have 2 year or more of experience in providing counseling services.
  • You are well-grounded in and knowledgeable in a variety of empirically supported psychotherapy treatment approaches including, but not limited to, cognitive and behavioral, postmodern/post-structural, social-constructionism, and narrative therapy.
  • You have a commitment to providing exceptional client care and using client feedback to improve care.
  • You are open minded desire to learn from other professional disciplines and knowledge bases as well as local knowledge of colleagues and families we serve.
