About the People Team
The People Function at Gorilla is growing. We view People Solutions as a Product where Employee Experience is our core product and the business model is employment as a subscription service. That’s where your role becomes crucial. You will be joining at a time when we are building our people tech stack and optimizing processes and policies to prepare for rapid growth and contribute to the company's mission of accelerating the global shift to carbon-neutral energy.
Where and how you’d work
Headquartered in Antwerp, we also have an office in London and co-working spaces in Reading (UK), Austin (US), and Melbourne (ANZ). This is a Remote First role in the EU. You have a choice in where and how you work. That means if you want to do your thing in the office (if you're near one), at home or a bit of both, it's up to you.

- You have a strong knowledge of the energy sector and an understanding of SaaS business models.
What you'll do in your 6 month contract
- Design and implement an Energy Industry Accelerator from initial concept to final implementation, managing timelines and ensuring high-quality learning content.
- Create and design a variety of instructional materials, including written documentation, course materials, checklists, and job aids, that increase the skills and knowledge of SMEs in the energy sector.
- Expand the impact of our customer onboarding learning tool, Gorilla University, by assessing learning needs and iterating to design impactful improvements.
What you'll need
- 3+ years of experience in instructional design, learning design, customer education, or related field
- Proficiency in LMS platforms, eLearning authoring and visual design tools (Adobe captivate, Articulate Storyline)
- Experience leading complex projects in a SaaS scale up environment with strong project management skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across functions, cultures, and stakeholder groups
- High self-motivation, ownership and committed to improvement
- You have the confidence and skill to hit the ground running and lead a complex, technical, high-visibility and high-impact learning project
You will work with teams across the company:
Your work will bring together the Gorilla Customer Team, People Team, and Product Team to build learning products that accelerate the business.
